Privacy and patient data

How Swara handles what patients say on a call. Swara is a product of Swaram AI, a brand of Forzeron LLP.

Last updated: 31 October 2026.

Who we are

Swara is an AI receptionist built by Swaram AI, a brand of Forzeron LLP. When a patient calls a hospital or clinic that uses Swara, we handle the call on that hospital’s behalf: the hospital decides why the information is collected, and we process it for them.

What Swara does with a call

Swara answers the call, asks a few questions to send the patient to the right department, books the appointment in your hospital system, and sends a confirmation and a reminder.

What is collected

To do that, a call can involve the caller’s phone number, their name, the reason for the visit they describe, the appointment that is booked, and a text transcript of the conversation.

Call recordings

Calls are not recorded. Only a text transcript is kept. If a hospital chooses to turn on call recording in future, patients will be told at the start of the call, before anything is recorded.

Where it is stored, and for how long

All call data is stored on servers in India (Mumbai), on cloud infrastructure that encrypts stored data. Every connection to and from Swara is encrypted in transit.

Call transcripts are deleted after 90 days. Appointment records are kept for as long as the hospital uses Swara, so it can manage its bookings, and are deleted when the hospital stops using the service or when a patient asks.

Who can see it

Only the hospital you called and a small number of authorised Swaram AI staff, who need it to run and support the service, can see call data. Access requires a secure login.

Service providers

To answer calls, Swara relies on a few specialised providers: telephony, speech recognition and speech generation, an AI language model, and messaging for WhatsApp and SMS confirmations. Each receives only the part of the call it needs to do its job.

Medical advice

Swara does not diagnose or prescribe. It only directs patients to the right department and books them in; clinical decisions stay with your doctors.

Patients’ rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, patients can ask to see, correct or erase their personal data, and raise a grievance.

To make a request, contact the hospital you called, or write to our Grievance Officer below. We respond within 30 days.
